Community involvement will be the only way we can get the Town Council and IFC to consider relocating the men's shelter to a better site.


  • Please join us for these upcoming meetings:

    • Monday May 9th - Council Discussion / Possible Town Council Vote

 

  • Talk with or write to the Mayor and Town Council Members. They will ultimately determine the location of the new shelter. Your opinions count!  To contact council members click here: Chapel Hill Town Council

  • Talk with neighbors and tell them about www.abettersite.org 

  • Sign the petition; have your friends and neighbors sign the petition and contact us at find@abettersite.org for questions and neighborhood drop off points for signed petitions. Download your copy of the petition here: abettersite petition

  • Attend future Town Council meetings that discuss the new shelter or recomendations made by the planning Board.
